Flore Arts Events was formed in 2016 in the village of Flore, Northamptonshire by a group of like-minded people with the objective of raising money for local charities through a programme of arts-related events and activities. Since our inception we have hosted a range of musical events from early music to jazz - not to mention poetry evenings and a silent movie night.​​

Many thanks to all of you who have so generously supported our events. We have now raised in excess of £35,000 for local charities

​Jazz in the Garden, Sunday July 12th. Rock Springs in Sutton St, Flore. 2.30pm; gates open 1.30pm. Now pretty much a fixture on the Flore Arts calendar. Once again our hosts will be the generous owners of Rock Springs in Sutton St, Flore. This year we will again be entertained by Tad Newton’s Jazz Friends.

As always we’re anticipating a programme of foot-tapping jazz and ragtime favourites in a relaxed garden setting. You’ll also have the opportunity to buy teas, cakes, soft drinks, Pimm’s, wine or beer.  Just bring something to sit on (and perhaps your dancing shoes).

Poetry Please: Sunday September 6th. The theme will be “Journeys”. As usual feel free to bring along any poem you would like to share, not necessarily related to the theme. Or just come and listen. Meet at the White Hart in Flore, 6.30pm to 8.00pm.

Joe Martin, Saturday September 19th. All Saints Church, Flore. Acclaimed Country and Americana singer-songwriter. Expect to hear a range of songs from the American country/folk catalogue including James Taylor classics as well as Joe’s own highly-rated material.
