Flore Arts Events was formed in 2016 in the village of Flore, Northamptonshire by a group of like-minded people with the objective of raising money for local charities through a programme of arts-related events and activities. Since our inception we have hosted a range of musical events from early music to jazz - not to mention poetry evenings and a silent movie night.

After another busy and varied year we have pretty much finalised our 2025 programme. More details to follow in the new year but for now here are our diary dates.

Poetry Please: Sunday January 19th. The theme will be “You’re having a laugh”. As usual feel free to bring along any poem you would like to share, not necessarily related to the theme. Or just come and listen. Meet at The White Hart in Flore. 6.30pm.

Ensemble Renard: fantastic and virtuosic wind quintet. Saturday May 17th. All Saints Church, Flore.

​

Jazz in the Garden: Sunday July 20th. Rock Springs, Sutton St, Flore.

​

Track Dogs: a smorgasbord of folk, rumba, jazz and blues. Saturday September 27th. All Saints Church, Flore.

​

Neil Richardson entertains: The West End comes to Flore: Saturday December 6th. Millennium Hall, Flore.

Many thanks to all of you who have so generously supported our events. When the bills are paid we expect to have raised around £4,000 for local good causes this year, bringing the total since our first event to around £30,000.
